Local corpus and access limits
The separate research vault contains 95 downloaded records totaling about 966 MB, including full newspaper issues, page scans, books, corporate material, photographs, and provenance notes. It is intentionally stored outside the website Git repository because three PDFs exceed GitHub's 100 MB per-file limit.
Some Library of Congress and Pennsylvania endpoints block automated clients even when they remain available in a normal browser. A blocked bot request is logged as an access limitation, not treated as evidence that a record disappeared.
